mpc 2500 se needs to warm up 30 minutes!?! Is it broken? PLE

Hello everyone,

i don't know if this problem was discussed in a previous post, if so i didn't find it.

So here is my problem:

Yesterday my new mpc 2500 se finally arrived. of course i unpacked it at once and plugged it in, but only to find that the mode button blinks but there is no reaction when i hit a pad (any pad). after numerous restarts and about a half an hour of waiting it finally worked. so i figured maybe it was too cold since it just came out of the post delivery van (and it is cold here in germany).
when i came back from work 8 hours later i figured it has to work now since it stood in my room at normal room temperatur for hours now but it again took a solid half an hour until the pads worked.

PLEASE HELP ME!

this cannot be normal, can it?

This sucks for you! I hate when things like this happens. You're looking forward to it and now you have to wait again.

I was was so excited when the delivery service arrived to deliver my 5000. The box was a bit light for a 5000 I thought. When I opened it there was a MPC 500 in it. How can you mess that up?

Daaamn. there was a 500 in it? now that is seriously messed up. that must have been one stupid packing guy. anyway, yeah waiting again definitley sucks. i hope it comes tomorrow.

so the story had a happy end. got the new 2500 a couple days later, works fine. i had a 500 before but the 2500 feels like a new entire world. check out this:
