Hi Everyone,
On my MPC1K JJOS, I use the audio track a lot for recording like this:
The MIDI keys goes to the MPC in, and the MPC out goes to the synth, and the synth audio out goes the MPC audio in (switch the Audio through ON), so what ever I play, record the MIDI notes, I can find the right tones on my synth while it's playing, I can tweak, I can set the right recording level on my MPC and just go back to the Audio track, hit record and start to record it.
BUT! If you record your loop that way there is always a slightly delay time to the "click"(tempo). On the trim mode it's very easy to ajust the start point and put it on the tempo, but because you had to move your whole sample a little bit back to put it on the "click", on the end, there is always a little gap appears when it comes to the loop(because you moved the sample back).
So basycally there is two option:
1, leave the original, so there is sample from the begining to the end but it's a little late, or
2, correct the beginning but there is gonna be a gap what I have to fill it somehow.
I cannot use the timestretch because that manipulate the whole sample witch is basically right on time (I don't wanna mess with that)
(I hope that was clear :) )
Do you guys know any solutions for that?

When you record the audio track turn loop mode off first. This way after the last (midi) note plays it will just decay naturally to silence. This should solve it for you. :)

THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Actually that was exactly on my mind too, but I thought there is a trick where you don't have to re-correct the sample at all, but that's not a big deal. :)
"it will just decay naturally to silence" this is what I was looking for!!!! :D

Thanx again!
