im new to everything and wanted to know whats a good mpc to start out and what i would need to go with it i dont have to much money.I tried fl studios but i didnt like it i seen something call Beat thang virtual that looked ok.I would appreciate any feedback.

stay away from anything that is beat thang or beat kangz, get 1k with jjos, or 2500 with jjos, make sure the 1000 has the new pads in it, and all other questions you have will be found on this site through a little bit of research

That makes a lot of sense, start getting a feel for drum beats etc. maybe get a cheap midi controller like an M-Audio trigger finger from ebay to practice pad playing on. See how you take to it.

Great suggestion. Get started with something and you will eventually answer your own question. As you make music and get an idea for what you like - the MPC's will start to make sense.
