CD ROM Sampling

Hi, I'm switching from the MPC1000 to the MPC2500.

I justed wanted to confirm that if the CD-M25 CD ROM drive is installed that you can sample from music CD's.

I know most peoples preference is to sample from records but I have hundreds of CD's I want to sample sounds from.

If this is possible, is the process of sampling internally like this simple and effective enough?

Yes you can sample directly from the audio cd. Aswell as storing samples on cd/dvd and loading them!
