cubase sx

Yo! I managed to hook the MPC to my Audiophile 2496 (via midi and audio cabels) and into my new Dell Dimension 4700 and record into Cubase SX 2.0. Everything work just fine until this bad thing happend. When i start playing all my tracks at one time, no sound came out off the monitors, just an irretating hiss sound that's getting louder and louder. But, when i play MP3's everything works just fine. wtf happends.. Need help.

playing all of what sounds at once? do you mean the tracks in Cubase.
you may want to make sure Cubase "Device Setup" has the correct driver for your soundcard configured like something like ASIO Audio2496

i don't have the audiophile but it should be recoginzed with ASIO in the beggining of the line
