I just think that this deserves a dedicated thread. If JJ do a auto play feature to all files on a folder on the load screen, this would be f*cking NICE ! Let's say when u searching a kick on a folder that has a hundred, so you would hit auto-play and it would starts playing them all sequentially with a given pause between them (a configurable pause would be even better).

I think this isn't that difficult to JJ to do, since he did so much more complex stuff, and I think this would be just nice to chill around on the room while you wait for the right sound to play and them you load it.

Please thumbs up if you agree with me.

I was reading this post a bit earlier and gave some thought to your idea.
Auto Play is a great idea and would be even better with the cursor Auto-Scrolling through the list.
When the sample you want to load plays, press STOP one time. The cursor remains at the same sample after loading it.
A RESUME button should be added to AutoPlay down the list where you left off.
RESUME should be functional if one decides to manually scroll through the list as well and resume Auto Play at that point.

Yeah auto-scrolling is necessary. Maybe a resume button is not even necessary if JJ use the transport buttons. Like PLAY START being the auto-play, STOP for stopping, and PLAY for the standard one sample play (or the standard F5).

I'm sure this would increase the workflow of a lot of people. This would even increase your F5 button lifetime.

One of the nice things about JJ is that you can audition sounds in load with f5, play/play start or any pad. It's also useful how you can scroll through your list with the jog dial, +/- buttons, up and down cursor AND the bar buttons. :)

In saying that, an auto-audition could be useful.

Thumbs up! but i think i read on a diff forum that its not possible because the internal memory can't handle it....Would be very useful for workflow but I'm not sure if it is possible.

yeah you're right. It's not automatic but what I'm doing sometimes is keeping a pad pressed and move the jog wheel to go to the next sample. I think it can be even faster than an automatic feature.

An 'auto scroll' or 'auto cue' could be really nice... especially for searching through single hit drums just by hitting pads.
