Cubase SX 2.2 Playback problem

I have a song that was arrange and sequenced on the MPC that I tracked to Cubase SX 2.2 for final mixdown.
On the SX playback the timing sounds off beat. When I compare the song playing from the MPC I notice the difference. How can I track this song again without coming across the same problem? I'm open to suggestions.

BTW

The snap to grid option is turned off.

My problem is not syncing up the devices. I have the both in sync. The problem I'm having is that once I track my song from the MPC to Cubase SX (for mixdown); the timing on the SX playback is not the same. It plays back @ a different swing. I'm gonna try to track the song again to see what happens. I never had this problem with VST.

Are you recording audio or midi. And how many channels?
Also, does it say "locked" in the sync part of the transport bar? Sometimes you think it's locked to timecode because it plays back, but it's not.

I am recording audio into SX from the MPC. The MTC is sync well because I sew the transport panel light up and say "locked 30 fps".

On this attempt I dumped 8 audio channels. I dont know if I should just try it again to see if it happens again. This is bugging me out.

That's very strange indeed. It shouldn't be different from your mpc sequence that way....
maybe......You've inserted plug-ins on some of the channels without delay compensation.
Also try to not set your soundcard to the lowest latency setting, perhaps something in your pc is not keeping up with these settings.

i'm just taking a wild guess, i've been using cubase for a long time but this sounds very strange to me.
Try the cubase forum too, they might know why this happens.

Those cats at the cubase forum got sticks up their a$$e$. I posted questions/problems before and no one helps; only sarcastic replys are given the majority of the time. Thats if someone there takes the time to stop complaining about bugs. Everyone over there is on the rag most of the time.

Thats why I personaly think this forum is tight! Everyone tries to help one another out in here. Big ups to the MPC forum and can't forget Tutor for such a great site.
Back to my problem. I'm just gonna try tracking again in Cubase SX. Maybe it will play back normal this time.

Too bad.

Try tracking again. And see if it works with 2 or 3 channels.
I'll keep an eye on this tread and see if i can come up with something.
