Digging in Seoul ?

Here for a few month.

Anybody got any tips where to find that raw 70's Korean rock and funk ?? ...or other stuff.

It's been about 10 years since I was there but there wasn't many record stores that I could find. Couldn't find any at kwang ju, suwon, taegu or kunsan either. Good luck though...

For future reference i found two good spots.

First one:
Hoehyeon station. There is a basement market called Hoehyeon basement market where there alot of thrift-stores etc. about 5 or 6 record stores there.





Second one:
Yonsan station. Head to Yonsan Electric Land, a big electronics mall. Second floor is Audio/Video and up there is 3 or 4 record stores.

How was the prices on records with the Won conversion rate?

The selection in Seoul was not that exciting, i guess mainly the big sellers of western music made it over there in vinyl format. There was alot fo fusion/jazz stuff, but didnt find anything really exciting. Recorde go from a couple of dollars to stores that sells "collector" records for up to 100$.
