updating MPC 4000 impossible

hello,

i want to update the operating system of my MPC 4K, but everytime i have this answer : "a sampler Akai is not connected".

i connect my mpc on 'host' to my computer. Is it the good connection or must I connect on 'slave' ?

Aksys runs ok ... (sometimes computer bugs and i must reboot-it ^^ but generaly it s ok...)

I m sorry but i'm french, so limited in english spoken.

i think you need to install usb driver too

If not that route, go for writing it to cd and load it into the 4k's cd drive.

It works like a charm this way as well.

i found the answer !!

1_ download the new OS from akaizone.siego.com , then transfer it on usb key.

2_ input the usb key on the top of MPC4K (slave), run the MPC4K , mode load, and the sampler's cpu works alone ^^.
