I've got about 300 totally mint 78s I bought for £20 on ebay... Just got to find a cheapish 78 stylus to play them.

One of the folders contains a load of King George V speeches from the early 30s, so they're getting sold asap!

holy smokes... that is bad ass. I am guessing you are gonna record those first?


tables that even play 78's are hard to come by around here...

It's a bit of a chicken and egg situation really... if the King's Speech wins the Oscar, I want to offload them quickly while the hype is there, but we'll see how it goes.

Thankfully my Stanton deck plays nice with 78s, I just don't want to spend £60 on a needle if I can come across a cheaper Chinese knock off.

the numark tt 200 and tt 500 plays 78's. i think all of the tt series does, they are reasonable priced turntables too.

i got my tt500 for 399 a few years ago, but i had to sell it, i just bought a tt 200 like 2 weeks ago and it was only 199.
