Rare 78s ripped for some guys blog.

All songs can be downloaded, some really rare old 78's that have been lovingly ripped and discussed on some dudes blog. Found some great stuff on here to mess around with, nice static on most of them too.

I've got about 300 totally mint 78s I bought for £20 on ebay... Just got to find a cheapish 78 stylus to play them.

One of the folders contains a load of King George V speeches from the early 30s, so they're getting sold asap!

holy smokes... that is bad ass. I am guessing you are gonna record those first?

tables that even play 78's are hard to come by around here...

It's a bit of a chicken and egg situation really... if the King's Speech wins the Oscar, I want to offload them quickly while the hype is there, but we'll see how it goes.

Thankfully my Stanton deck plays nice with 78s, I just don't want to spend £60 on a needle if I can come across a cheaper Chinese knock off.

the numark tt 200 and tt 500 plays 78's. i think all of the tt series does, they are reasonable priced turntables too.

i got my tt500 for 399 a few years ago, but i had to sell it, i just bought a tt 200 like 2 weeks ago and it was only 199.
