the new "events".......seen em in scratch magazine.
But ive heard about the event 20/20 bias.......supposedly the best....plus my friend who is just a sound engineer uses them!?
but i think the new ones replace those and i dont think they are that expensive.
Go 8" though, cause thats pretty much standard. If you go smaller you might regret it, or not get the bass response needed for hiphop.

look for a pair of ns10m. and another pair like genelecs, dont know how much they cost in the states though.
