Pads won't play.

Hi. The problem is that When i record a sample ,then trim it and assign to a pad, the sample does not play. It does play in trim and it shows up in program mode.
The pads also don't play the preset samples in sequence mode. Can you please help.

Seeing as this is your first post, I will ask if you have tried the "Full Level" button or tried hitting the pad harder. You can make it easier to play the pad louder by assigning the pad play mode in other to A.

I have tried all three of these thing .it does not work.

Well to check to see if the samples are loaded onto the MPC, go to Mode -> Pad 5 (Trim) and try to play the samples there by holding any of the pads. If they are there, then check to see if they are assigned to the pad by hitting Mode -> Program and tap the pad that it should be assigned to. Scroll a little bit to the right to sample assign and check if it's there.

They will play in trim mode and there are assinged to the pads when you go into program. They just won'y play in sequence mode?

You have to record the notes into sequence mode in order to have something play when you hit the play button. Hold down record and play start to start recording a sequence, then hit the pads to record.
