I just got this Kurzweil 2500R and I wanted to see if the ROM's were installed so I opened it and found this .

I've cleaned old pc's that dirty before, i suggest a can of dust off, and a vacuum cleaner with one of those hand wands on it, most all them have on, and hook like the brush thing up to it a very gently go over top, the dust will clear up fast.

That unit looks like you have the sampling option.

If you've got the xlr & optical in option on the front right, then it samples.

I was going to suggest taking it outside and hitting it with some canned compressed air, but Ark set you straight with the right deal.

Unless it came from the factory as an "R" instead of an "RS", the sampling board must have been added afterwards at some point.

But your title does state "sampler" so my bad for not reading everything clearly. :)
