ive already checked the specs for my roland. both main in/outs and the 3-4 in/out used for mpc have the same impendances/voltages. i will try mono cables, although i really doubt that is the case...
anyways i did leave the mpc at 0dB and just used the compressor built in for each channel to set the levels... i thought the circuitry on 2010 electronics would give a better effect than just probably a simple gain on the 12dB mpc option..
and in fact the waveforms seem smoother this way. mpc just makes everything square and jagged, i mean i like raw but..
another problem came up today while playing around, cant really seem to work it out when it starts to occur, but when i use the drum pads for some time just experimenting i get the overrun clicks, you know, sounds is still playing but you get the clickytyclacks overlain.. wonder which part of the mpc is failing..
