powering MPC1000 with converter plugged on Automobile Cigare

Has anyone tried to power the MPC1000 with the automobile cigarette lighter power + a converter (found usually in automobile parts shops) ?

How long can we use it before the batteries of the automobile is too empty ?

I don't know if "car cigarette lighter power" is the correct english word ? but do you see what I mean ?

the 12V power plug in the car..... has anyone tested to power the MPC1000 with this plug (+ a 220V (or 110V in USA) converter ) .........

take a look at the fuse, it's the white cylinder near the power supply. w/ the machine unplugged, pop out the fuse and see if there is a black mark on it (might look like sharpie). if that's the case, then it's the fuse that is blown. new ones are < $1. that's a good first try.

no, there is no fuse problem.... : my mpc is working fine

I just wanted to know if anyone has already tested to power the mpc with a car cigarette lighter + 12V to 110V/220V (depending on country) adapter....
and how long will it be possible to use the MPC before the car batteries is empty.....

your battery wont die as long as your car is running.ive got a 100watt adapter and i can power the mpc and small computer speakers

ANd if the car is not running, do you think it is okay to use the MPC for 2 hours with the cigarette lighter power + adapter?
Or will it use too much of battery ?
