Hello,

I want to export a song : [MODE] [SONG] / [RECORD] (Edit: this feature is called [MixDown] is new OS2XL versions)

But the exported output file has slowdown and accelerations !!
Like if the BPM would change 10 times per bar ! Strange ! So the rhythm is not good....

Have you ever had the same problem ?

Thanks !

Hi,
The problem seems now solved :D Some if my samples were very long (3 seconds of silence at the end) and as they were repeated very often (rate 1/16 for the hihats) , I think it used A LOT of polyphony and RAM for nothing !!!! Maybe this was the cause of lag... Now I have recut the Wav correctly, and the problem seems solved :D

EDIT : after a long test, it seems, however, that the rhythm is slightly changed ....... The "mixdown" version is not exactly similar in rhythm than the version played (with the usual [PLAY] button) in the MAIN screen.

:!: Is it a well-known issue that [MIXDOWN] doesn't produce a perfect mixdown ? :?:

Well, yes I had this problem many times in the past, usually the sequence was to heavy, to be exact there was to many q-link realtime events in my case, and/or this could be problem with maxing out polyphony.

In general, I think all controller data like CCs and Mpc's realtime should have a quantization option, otherwise it is all recorded on every of 1/96 ticks. Three tracks of such a data.. seems like few cutoff sweeps here and there and sequence weight over 1mb!!!!! When the sequence is long, over 100bars there is a serious lag in machine operation, MPC doesn't react as fast as at the start of the same sequence.

I'm using JJ OS2XL 2.13

It's strange, because my Sequence is, now that I've done some editing,
*only 1 bar in loop
*only 1 track with 1 program (16 pads used, less than 1second sample for each pad)
* no QLink, no automation
* just a bit Swing ...

Okay, the problem is light : the "Mixdown" rhythm seems only a little bit out of beat (only on some beats)... But it's already too much : it's unusable for my production.
How to solve this ?

Any idea ?

ok, How many voices on voice monitor?

I suppose that recording main out stereo needs virtual 2 voices, so make sure polyphony doesn't exceed 30 voices anywhere in the sequence and when it loops back, (mute some tracks) to have less than 30 for a test, record it and tell me does it make any difference.

- the similar problem I have!
But in my case I found that the beat is little incorrect when I record 'song' directly from MPC outputs to sound card.
Besides that, I found that each time I record it - there are different results, i.e. shift of beats is on different sounds (pads) and in different places of song.

Can somebody help with this?

Thanks.

P.S. Sorry about my English :oops:

I'm really don't know what can I do with this grace notes...

But. I've mentioned that in logic on my macbook pro, it's ok now!

And on nuendo on pc it still going out of beat.

Any ideas?

How is Logic on a Macbook and Nuendo on a pc relevant here?
Are you talking about syncing up your computer with your mpc as master?

I just bought the jjos 128xl1.13 over the holidays and noticed the same issue. I first tried adding a blank 2bar sequence to the song start and that did not work. My fix was to double the time the sequence plays and cut the first seq off in the daw. . Hopefully this works for you.
