Old term for money.

Um..., I'm not sure, I've seen EPS Racks go cheaper, but 200 is fair, as for whether you need it, opnly you can decide that.

I got your message, I'll give you a call later on, since it's 7:44 in LA now!!

I got the 16 plus when I was 15. Made lots of beats on it. I dont have it anymore but still remember allot about it if you have any questions. As far as what it can do that an mpc can't... Once I got an mpc I never looked back.

YO elmacaco, There is this guy on ebay who is selling his 60 with original disks. I asked him if I could buy the disks, he wants to know a price.
Whats fair? and is it worth it? I mean are the original sounds cool?

Thanks!!!

you can download the original sounds at Roger Linn, surely...(?)

Hm, no, not the original Akai MPC60 disks. What Roger Linn has on his site is the sounds which you get with OS3.1 (I think?)

Andrea's, The 16+ is dope! I had one for years, then I upgraded to the asr-10. The main things a 16+ can do that the 60 cant is Filters and effects. The filters are nuts on that thing, so easy to use, and sound great. Same with the effects, plusyou can re-sample with effects. The sound on it is very nice, IMO better then my asr-10, abit more grimmy. The EPS dosent seem to hold the lowend that the 60 does tho. thats a dope combo, good luck with that. If you have any questions get at me.

The mobb deep album : Infamous Mobb - was done all with an sp-1200 and an EPS. The filters and effects are nuts. But I'm not too sure about the 16-bit version. I might check out the 12-bit original first.

how many disks? If he has a bunch, look at around $3-$5 per disk, they are not that great, but some are mad cool, they only have 2 banks of sounds on them, not all useable.

If he's got 50 disks, offer him $50, or first ask what he wants for the whole lot.

I have the 12 bit OG EPS at home, its dope, but you have to insert the OS disc all the time...when you wanna sample, and such...it sounds so sweet tho.!
