mpc 2000xl?

Yo i got 1,000 dollars to spend and want to get a mpc 2000xl but have yet to find a good deal. How much should i pay for a used mpc 2000xl? is there any risk in getting a used mpc vs. a new one? Are they reliable and also where is a good place to buy one for a good price...thanks

Ebay is always a good place to start. I lucked out and got mine for 800 which included shipping, an internal zip drive, internal effects card and scsi. I looked flawless when i got it...

Ebay is hit or miss though, you never know if how they describe it, is actually how its gonna be...

If you bought from people with a grip of positive feedback, that actually put up pics of their mpc, then I guess it'd be more reliable...

You could always get paypal buyer protection and if something happens then paypals got your back...Or even put it on your credit card and if that shits all wacked out, dispute it...

There's a bunch of people selling their mpcs, just watch all of them and wait for a good deal to come up...
