Hey I just bought this beast and I am having some troubles.

I bought a 250 zip scsi zip, then a bought another 250 zip USB. I bought 4, 250 zip disks, and I placed one in and went to
"copy, format, other" and formated my disk and split it into 9 partitions.

It went from 250 mg, to 24 mg , I dont know why i can't load more than 24 mg on a zip? help on this...

Then I downloaded Mpcpgmmaker and loaded some WAV samples, selected mpc3000 format.

When I create the pgm folder, with all the samples and the pgm file, named for exaple "kit 1"

I then go to my mpc3k, and hit 7, "load erase, rename' I select part A of the scsi drive, and load Kit, but after that it tellsme which program i want, and select KIt 1 again and then it tells it cant find the sample.

Then i have to skip through all the samples cuz it cant load them, even though they are there/

Help
Whats the procedure? or best way to get my samples read appropriately by my 3k.

Do i need software other than the one i downloaded? is there better one?

Help please

Thank everyone in advance hope this clears some doubts of this machine..

yeah, if you split up 250 megs into 9 partitions each one will be around 27 megs.
I don't know the program, but did you copy over the .snd files along with the .pgm?
I think most people just sample into these old mpcs - it adds to the sound.
