Then on the mpc you need to hit the RECORD button (on the keypad and not the transport) so that you can be able to pre-record or get things ready to record your keyboards' sounds. Then you make sure the record gain on the mpc is set to a decent input level as well as the input source on the screen of the mpc is set to its appropriate source.

You play the keyboard to make sure it's playing whatever sounds you have selected. You can monitor this with headphones plugged into the mpc to make sure things are doing what they're supposed to be doing (there is a "phones" input if you're confused about that too).

And to be honest, I really can't continue going on like this because it's frustrating as hell to give somebody detail after detail on something so simple to do (spoon feeding is what it's called).

If it's that hard to contemplate Georgie, give it up dude like I suggested and find something else to make you happy.

Well, it's too bad georgie that you're not around the metro d.c. area. If that was the case, you could hire me to get you going in no time.

My rates are reasonable and you can get things sounding pro level and all.

Well it depends. What's your budget btw? And if you're on a low budget, then I'd suggest looking on ebay at least.

And then it also depends on how fast you want to purchase something too.

I'd say grab yourself a Roland XP50 or 60 and install an expansion board to get more sounds. It'll of course be used since they're not made anymore, but you'll still have access to some dope sounds plus the ability to control your mpc via midi.

Well a used xp 50/60 seems to be going for around an average of $500 on up.

Then there's the korg triton le that goes for about a little less than most of the roland stuff, but I'm not feeling the sounds like I do on the roland.

But in your case, you may have a different opinion of the korg sounds and may settle for that instead.

It's basically up to you. I own both roland & korg synth modules so that's why I mentioned these two.

Check out ebay & craigslist and see what you might find. You just might get lucky and find someone a little desperate and willing to part with something for little of nothing.
