Tracks Not Muting! Please help

hello,

i'm new to the MPC-world and wondered if someone could help me?

i've recorded into a sequence my different parts using bank A Pads 1-6, when i try and use the track mute feature it won't let me mute any of them. I've check its on bank A.

Anyone shed any light?

If any tracks are SOLO'd, track mute will not work. Can only use one or the other.

Cheers for the response but i've check all banks and nothing is solo'd. although i've just found that once the sequence is playing bank A pad 10 mutes everything. tad odd.

That was all I could think of off hand..

other than:

1. Did you update to OS1.31?

2. Last resort maybe a factory reset will help

Just updated off the Akai website now and installed it, but sadly no change.

also just done a factory reset on start-up, and no change. bugger.

Have you tried creating a different beat from scratch, starting with a blank program?

Sounds like everything is recorded on track 10..

You did record everything on separate tracks yeah?

---Sequence 01---

Track1=kick
Track2=snare
Track3=hat
Track4=Bass
etc..

Did you use track view when recording?

If it still doesn't work after that..

Have you tried to go to the track params to mute the tracks there?
Not the best solution, but just to see if it mutes that way.

Make sure you go to the track setting and that the tracks are being recorded to 1-12 for banks A

6 pads as in 6 different samples??? All of it could be on one track above 12.

WELL did you ever end up getting your tracks to mute? Just curious...
