Crashes in MPC 4000

I put the hard disk and RAM, new and continues to the same problems. I found a "solution " is to start the interim mpc without charge the initial configuration of the MPC, I mean, who does not believe the "Multi 1" and "Program 1. " That way if it saves me the files and I read them right from the hard drive.
It is a temporary solution but it's something.
The only thing I can think of is that I have a poor connection on the machine, perhaps effects card or something.
