Motif + Zip Drive Formatting????????????(Help Please)

Whutup Peeps......

I just got my USB 100 Zip Drive so that I can hook it to my Motif ES so that I wont have to buy slot media cards. When I try to format the damn thing it wont work. Any suggestions or help.

i might be wrong but i dont think the motif is a usb host i would check into that like i said i might be wrong

I may be wrong also but i believe you need a ssci zip drive.

this dude got the Motif ES, he needs a USB Hard Drive, not a USB Zip drive i believe.

I contacted Yamaha Tech Suuport and the guy said that it should work as soon as I hook it up.
So I guess this **** sold me a messed Zip Drive on ebay.
Maybe I should invest in a brand new one.

so thats tight the motif is a usb host i thought u could just hook it up to the cpu and send stuff from the cpu to it but thats gravy\ i got to cop one now
