Trim Mode - Use the pads to create NDC chops and assign them to the pads. In other words, While the sample is playing, press a pad to set the start point of the chop, release the pad to set the end point of the chop, and when you release the pad the chop is automatically assigned to the pad.

Record Mode - same feature conceptually, but for Record Mode. In other words, in record mode, press a pad to start sampling, release the pad to stop sampling, and when you release the pad the sample is automatically assigned to the pad.

According to Nym I made this feature request a few years ago, but apparently JJ can't see my swag from Japan...

additional playback mode:

ONESHOT
NOTE ON
and DURATION

duration would basically be the same as "NOTE ON" but you'd specify how many ticks the sample would hold for when it is recorded.

To be able to assign a couple of outs as FX sends on FX set up page

The internal FX are some of the lamest i've heard. If a pad could be sent (0 to 100%, non of this on or not on nonsense like flange and chorus is) to an external Fx, like my lovely grainy 8bit vintage reverb or my Studio Quad, then when i died it would be with an erection.

(I really need to get out more, ... meet some girls ....meat some girls .... damn you MPC, what is this magic you possess that enslaves me so?)

This or a similar feature that would allow you to place slices into a sample by pressing a pad as the sample plays.

TRACK MUTE SONG MODE!!! I WOULD KILL FOR THIS FUTURE!!!

http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5286/trackmutesong.jpg

So basically the "DARK" and "WHITE" Controls the "Track Mutes"

And when u play in "Grid Edit song mode" they play all the tracks at the same time but if u want to mute your hihat on a special bar/beat or bass on a special bar/beat and such u can click or unclick it where u want the "brake/mute"

So instead of making 20 sequence whit "intro, verse, hook and verse whit no drums the first 2 bars/beats" and so on you just click and unclick where u want the "mutes" like when u play the beat and have the "track mute window" open and mute and unmute on the fly to give some variation.
