Question about Zip Disks

Hellooo,
is it possible to sort the .snd or .pgm files on my zip disk by name (for example)?
when i scroll between the files on my mpc its totally random sorted
it will be so much easier if my kicks, snares, basses, ... can be found in a right order.

Maybe not the best answer, but if you create a new folder, and then re-save everything into it, it will be sorted by filename.

You'd have to do this with a computer though, or on a per-program basis.

This is for a 2kxl.

i thought about that, but it seems mpc doesn't read folders...

In what order does it save in default? (I don't know cos I'm on the 2500)

the reason I'm asking is; if it's alphabetical Order you could Name ur snds so that u have same type o snds in a row..know what i mean?

like; name all Kicks some thing like K... all Snares S... and so on...

just an idea. don't know if that'll do

If you can create folders (like I can with the 25) then do that.
