using filter for only one zone,,, how?

I got this problem,, when i go to the modulation page, and apply a filter to a keygroup, i apply the filter to all zones in one keygroup....
But how can i filter only one zone of the keygroup????


(when select other zones in KG on the edit page,, the modulation still applies to all zones)

am i missing something?

if you got aksys just open it and on the left where the keyboard is you can choose all or one. then just get the right zone and click on it. then you can only modulate that specific zone. For example if it is called zone one, modulate zone 1 filter cutoff. hope this helps

you can convert program to drum program, then adjust easily. Then if you need to convert back to keygroup.

i dont use akasys anymore

Below in the Zone modulation you have Tune/ one shot/Filter/Start and so on. I use it all the time. Dont set the value for filter for the keygroup just set it up for the type of filter and adjust how much you want to use from the zone filter fields for each sample. You can all set it up in Qlink page also. The Z8 manual explains it all. Just experiment and you will get better at it.
