Lists of places (not US based) that repair MPCs and others..

What I think would be useful to all the heads here is a directory of places that repair MPCs, synths, etc.
We can self repair which is very cost effective, but sometimes things get too out of hand and a professional needs to be called in. Especially if the equipment is a valued piece which you are scared of frying.

Please feel free to add to the list. Any countries that aren't in the US for the worldwide MPC fam.

Anyway here's a few I pulled from Sound On Sound:

Cimple are an Akai Pro certified service centre.

I can confirm that they are one and the same.

Not sure who bought out who but it is what it is.

I've used Cimple Solutions to repair a synth, no complaints from me.

Hammond Hire in Coventry (UK) repaired my SP1200. It went in broke, and came out perfect. http://www.hammondhire.com/

They fix anything vintage including the MPC 60 and 3000, but also newer models.

S'all good to know for us UK-ians.
I end up fixing my own isht most of the time though. Normally costs an arm and a leg some of these places.

They did a good job but I won't use them again. Bloody expensive and didn't submit any paperwork.

Who said they were? I'm telling you they are certified Akaipro service centre. That means Akai approves them as a place to get your Akaipro gear repaired.

Personally, I've used them about 4-5 times. On everything BUT akai gear they were bad. On one occasion, I asked for a full electrolytic recap. They said they'd done it and charged me accordingly. I opened up the case and nothing had been replaced. Having said that, on Akai gear (used the 3 times for this) they are brilliant.

FINALLY HAVE MY MPC BACK!!!!


Got it fixed by Synth Prof. The service was great and I definetly recommend them!

What work did they do for you and was the cost reasonable?
