white screen of death??

I feel like I have lost a very good friend of mine, but I am not ready to moarn just yet. My problem is that when i flip my mp3 on the screen display becomes all white and all the red light indicators are on, but there is no noise and no sign of loading. if someone could help me with isolating the issue I would GREATLY appreciate it and use everything within my power to fix it. thanks

my best advice would be to call forat... and have a talk with him thru the phone.

haha, yeah... I see it now too. I thought he was talking about his mpc screwing up when he tried flipping mp3s lol...


yeah I have seen that happen. sometimes restarting it a few times works. maybe check to make sure all the parts are properly connected such as ribbon cables and connectors. also call forat if those basic things dont fix the issue.

Hey Soulnsonus, did you manage to get this fixed? My MPC is doing exactly the same thing!

Edit: I've checked the connections that you can get to without removing any of the boards and they all seem to be ok.

Yes I have tried and now i know it's technical service in L.A( I thought Forat was only a person). But this doesn't help me because I'm from Barcelona and i don't wanna send my MPC so far away. Here I know a technical service where perhaps they can solve my problem. I am looking for somebody who knows if this problem is very bad or critical. I'm afraid, it's my baby, my mainhorse.
