Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

I just got my 4000 and now need to transfer samples from my PC over to the MP. Actually, the question I have is should I keep the files on the PC and just store them there until I'm ready to use them or should I just transfer my entire sample library over to the MPC? Should I do this via akai sys or via the USB port on the front? What's the best way to do this. I'm coming from NI maschine and want to transfer kits I created there over to MPC. Do I have to manually rebuild those kits one by one, sample by sample as new programs in the MPC or is there a quicker way to do this?

Thanks.

After some time struggling trying to get this setup under Win7 64bit, I finally got aksys up and working. Now that's I've got my arms around it, it is a VERY cool tool. Using it makes me not miss my Maschine so much. One question I have is is it possible to create subfolders in the Samples folder where I can have specific folders dedicated for different types of sounds. For example, I'd like to have a folder for snares, another one for kicks, another for cymbals.... Can you do that with aksys?

Thanks again.

BTW, I'm LOOOOVING my 4000. Best move I ever made.
