lookin for a 45 record spacer

i kind of wanted to make my own spacer to put in the middle of the 45 so i know its playing perfectly

any advice on making a homemade one

i tried like 3 different things but it doesnt work well

making your own is tricky, i did but had s couple of goes and access to a lathe.

It is not that expensive, you should buy one. Search amazon.com for "45 adapter", you'll find some.
I have a few different ones, but I use the aluminum 45 adapter that came with SL-1200 mk2, which fits tight to 45s' and it is super precise size, so you get less wow and flatter.
Plastic dome adapter would fit 45's easier than the Technics aluminum 45 adapter, but often a bit too loose, which cause wow and flatter more likely.

Bet you could fashion one out of a fruit by the foot roll pretty easily

Get some hard wood and whittle it into shape with a penknife.
