Well, i bought an akai mpk61 second hand off of eBay...it worked great and everything, but a horrible accident happened (it fell) and the USB plug was snatched from the back of the keyboard...but when the plug came out, it snatched out the back of the keyboard with it...smh...so i basically need a new USB port in the back of the keyboard. the Midi in/outs are safe and sound as well as the sustain pedel input...the only thing screwed up on it is the usb port...but i can't find anyone that either

1. sells the circuit board that i need, because it's replaceable (i can disconnect it)
2. jus fixes the freaking problem!

somebody give me some help here...thanks

hmm...that's a possible solution...but it only lists items for the MPK49...i'm gonna contact them and ask if it works for the MPK61 as well...anymore suggestions? I would MUCh rather have my old connector fixed...i know that will be much cheaper

I have yet to use these guy's myself (thanks to my machines not needing any repair at the moment) but I had a buddy who purchased a mpc2000 for about under a 100. the guy he was buying it from said he didn't need it anymore and the pad's were unresponsive. my buddy shipped it to the VST guys and within a week or 2 he got it completely fixed for under a 100 bucks as well, they maintained contact with him all throughout the repair possess, informed him what the exact issue was how much it was going to cost to repair it and the whole 9.

If I ever have a issue with my machines, I'll more than likely send it to them.
