Posible poping out ram solution

I was talking with ceetheproducer about ram upgrade, and he told me that becouse of the ram is under the pads, it will eventualy pop out or move because of the hits, or just shaking while in a pack. And there u have it, ram errors. So, as I dont have a ram upgrade I will ask somebody to try out a method we came up with, because glueing it in is not really a good idea. So, put a rubber band between the 2 ends of the ram holster, to tighten the ram in. It can go around the ram too, it should fit (as i see it inside). If anyone has this poping problem and still has both of the holsters, might give it a try. Theoreticaly it should work pretty well, but ceetheproducer has on of the holsters broken, and as I said, I dont have a ram upgrade. Who gives it a shot at his own will?

Why not just glue some hard foam to the battery door so that it applies a bit of pressure to the ram? Just enough to stabilize it? I mean, we're already putting foam in the battery door to keep the AA's in place.

Also: about 5 layers of scotch tape between rubber pads and the sensors will make it so you don't have to hit the pads as hard. (I was really surprised at how hard I had to bash the pad to get it to register a hit before I used the tape method. And I'm coming from the 1000, which has it's whole own set of problems.)

The foam is a good idea also, however, some of the users like me still has his waranty, so glueing is not an option for me, until the end of the waranty period, because if i really have a problem with the unit, if they find glued things inside, they can say that it causes my problem and my waranty is f***ed.

SARCASTIC ARSEHOLE SAYS : Did you think about putting the foam inside without the glue???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

As long as the door of the battery compartment is clicked shut the foam will still perform it's intended function. All the glue does is keep you from chasing the foam around the floor when you open the battery compartment.

I know this because that's what I did to mine. It works.

thats the funnyist thing i've read all week, n it makes sense to!

but as for beatin the shit out of ur mpc well thats jus standard procedure in my books, i kud never not do that.
