Found out last week I'm getting laid off at the end of March, so it's time to sell a couple things to help during the transition to a new job.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180641753744

In summary - all new switches, recapped, new backlight, max memory, CF card reader/writer in place of floppy drive, Vailixi OS. worldwide shipping. Note the "or best offer" on the Buy It Now price.

$2,199.00 for an LE with Vailixi.

Maybe that's why you're being laid off?

Is that what they go for over there...

note the "or best offer".

Also has the SCSI CF card reader, recapped, new switches, and new backlight. Add up the cost of a typical 3000 LE in OK condition, throw in the backlight, cf drive, Vailixi, 50+ switches, and the labor to recap and replace all switches. Then take a look at the completed auctions for various 3000 LEs in various configurations and you'll come up with something close to what I did.

Dude is gaffling for that LE...but it does have some nice features included...Im diggin that Memory card reader...I rather buy a regular 3000 and get it painted and the Memory card reader installed by Forat and it still wouldnt come to that price...Dude is hittin over the head for that damn MPC...someone will buy it though, but not a seasoned vet of the Forum...LOL

I sold this fool this LE two years ago for $11oo (it was supposed to be for his son), and if I'd have known he was gonna pull this bullshiit I'd have never sold it to him
I don't care what kind of disk drive and switch replacement you've done to it, its not worth $22oo
hell, I wouldn't pay Jay Dee's estate $22oo for his MPC
you really should be ashamed of yourself for even doing that to someone, that Make Me An Offer shiit doesn't make it right because you'd probably just refuse any reasonable offer
you doubled your money for parts that anyone could've had done for half the markup, at the most
karma's a biitch, don't forget that

Come on now, if someone ask a price for something and someone pays it then that's what it's worth to them.
Look at how many people say JJ charges too much it his new pricing or that Rohan's OS is expensive, while others see it for the value that it is.

Once you sell something to someone don't be concerned with what they do with it, it's just an ex-girlfriend at that point.

Roger Linns machines will b next to Antonio Stradivaris violins in a couple of hundred years. So i see why this is happening now. I bought my first 3000 for $830 - my next one, also a LE, for trice the price.

Congratulation to the one who sold it and the one who bought it. Enjoy life
