the fact he's using soundforge isn't irrelevant at all , we are in a technical forum, so its really interesting to know how things are done! when i read the famous interview i thought he was takin the piss, but now i checked the soundforge homepage and noticed recent releases can do multitrack editing\mixing.
so its possible :D
i was seriously wondering how such beautyful pieces of music can be done on a simple 2 tracks editing software !!!!

Amazing artist. Amazing theory for creatiing his music and developing his style. I read somewhere that he'd go out and watch the sun set as a means of recreatinig something to set the tonality of his music? Some bugged out shit.

He's got his own unique approach which makes him stand out from others. I mean, come on...the dude samples Vin Diesel's (sp) car keys and his brothers lighter and programs his drums w/ those sounds lol

I agree with comments, he is inspirational because he sounds great and he has his own sound. We should all think about this next time we spend time aiming for the primo sound or the j dilla sound etc.

If you like this kind of music, you should watch this guy called Eleven Tigers and check some of his tunes...
I heard him this weekend live in a club and I must say that he really deserves some attention....
