I'm usually down with your posts Rolex, but if you've had all these different MPC's and stuff, how come you don't have a turntable/sound surprised about the benefits of using one.

Thats the only thing Im missing from my studio, I live in the suburbs so there is no way to get vinyl...The only place to get Vinyl out here in California would be in San Francisco and at AMoEBa record stores....I live in Murrieta, there is no such thing as vinyl out here...Im just basically sampling out of my itunes right now from my Digi 003....And yes Ive owned all the MPC's besides the 2000 and the 60...check the 3000 post your setup and the 5000 post your setup and youll see I had both at the same time, check my youtube channel youtube.com/puccipucce and youll see that I had 2 MPC;s simultaneously...I just never could afford a turntable at the times when I wanted to buy one...so I said eff it. But good looks Bucks...You need to post up some more tracks on cloud.

Just dollar bin it up with anything in there... I get my stuff from everywhere and anywhere!

I was watching Netflix and my son had on "Team Umi Zoomi" ... they had a bit in there that I took and flipped

I came up with this:

http://kappneffect.bandcamp.com/track/semi-finals

..the drums are a little low, but you can get a general idea of what I mean..... Just do anything... I do.

See basically I was trying to get some ideas for some artists so I could go on YouTube and snatch the songs off of youtube import them into ITunes and sample them...Napster is cool to use but I dont have a membership, my boy does so I listen and write the songs down and then go on YouTube and snatch stuff...Just trying to get some new flavor, I havent ran out of samples its just that Im tired of sampling the same thing over and over in a different way.

yo. this is a corny thread, dude wanting to know what to sample, man please. knowing how to sample is what's up,you take it from there. that's like an MC asking another MC what should I say next or teach me how too rhyme, cause he flipped his whole dictinary

Yo man, if you wanna find new samples, definitely grab a turntable. Surprised you ain't got one since you have a sampler! You can find really nice records that you can't find online and shiz. It's worth doing, you could cop a Technics or Vestax deck on Ebay fairly cheap...

Ain't it Creed Taylor duke?
