I get my samples from my parents CD collection, I got alot of old joints imported into Itunes on my G5...I then cut up the samples in pro tools and recycle. And no Im not new to any of this...I owned the MPC 2500, MPC 3000, MPC 5000 and now the MPC 4000...I need to get a turntable, I just dont have an extra 300 to shell out on a good one. I rather buy another MPC and still sample from CD's....Where do you get your sources from? You have any samples of your work? Thanks for asking me a question, all I get from this forum is flak because I ask simple questions.

Another great source to sample from would be Napster.
