Just get the 2000xl and f*ck with it for a little while and enjoy the funk that it will bring out of you. Then worry about the CF reader.

At one point, I had 7 hardware samplers and I still couldn't sample enough. lol. So I feel you on that. But I eventually learned to just get busy, be creative and it will become clear what I really needed versus gearlust.
