just got a used MPC4000...
I record a sample, slice it, and create a program...I assign the program to part 1
Afterwards, I go to the main screen and try to choose a program by cursing down to "part"
I choose part 1 then curse over to the program window, but nothing happens when i move the jog wheel or hit the window button.
I have used an MPC4000 before and have never had this problem.
The only way the program list pops up is if i load a program or sequence from the internal mpcdisk, go back to the main screen, and now the program list is accessible...however, it does not work if it is a program that i saved, it has to be a stock program that came with the MPC...
I have tried calling akai's customer support, but they cant figure it out...
has anybody ever heard of this?
Is there some sort of setting that is preventing me to access the programs that I create, without loading something from the internal disk first?
