Using 500 with FL STUDIO?

how do i use the 500 as a controller for fpc and or to trigger sounds from the mpc in FL.

and can it be done through usb?

FL DOES NOT SUCK. I personally think that people that think that FL sucks. . . Sucks.

I use it all the time. 9th wonder STILL uses it and is a millionaire, so does lex lugar and Black Milk. DILLA used it too, portably.

FL is the truth.

But if you have a 500 or 1000, make sure you get the latest driver from [url]AKAI's Site[/url].

Usually you plug it in, install the driver. when it's ready to use, go FL>options>MIDI Settings>Controller type drop down menu. Then choose the MPC 500 and enable it and it should be done.

You can program VSTs to it, by clicking the gears in the plugin display, that say link to device.

Or you can use the MPC by itself with your hard drive, by dragging and dropping samples into the MPCcard.

Fl is a good program and very easy. I started with it, andi loved it.
But seriously, why have the mpc500 when ur gonna use it as a controller? U would be better of with mpd. Using mpc as a controller on Fl is a waste of what the mpc can do.
