I had a tatty studio some years ago, but I preferred having all my kit in my bedroom as soon as I woke up.
I'm also sick of opening up my A&H GS3 to try and fix certain parts of it (at least the channel pcb's are modular internally though). I still get intermittent cut-outs of audio on the 5 and 8 group channels and a couple of the 24 channels. I have to hit the desk to get them up again. Such a pain. I'm gonna try replacing some caps next. But yeah an amazing-sounding analogue desk would be first on my list to buy.
But for me I'd just want the kit I mentioned above to go with my existing gear; TR808, TR606, TR727, SH09, RS09, MS20, X0XB0X, DX9, FZ-1, S950 (recently acquired

), MPC2500, A1200, urei/jbl 7110 x2, dbx 118, dbx 119, dbx 120A, dbx386, PCM70 and loads of bits and electronic bobs.
