Nice! If you get a chance snap some shots of the guts...I'm curious to see what's in there

The Amek probably won't have any work done until around December or so...things are way too hectic until then. Some channels are good some aren't. They're modular so I'm in the process of finding some extras- there's a console on ebay right now, but shipping to TX is almost $300

Got to reconnect some loose XLR's in the back and clean some pots- other than that, it's good

your duff channels are most likely blown caps. or even lose ones.

True...a friend of mine has a friend who's a tech so he'll be going through it all with me as I dont' have much experience with it. Considering the age, I'm sure there's no telling what we'll find wrong once we slide 'em out...

i found the one that was blown on my right channel, I didn't see it when i visually inspected the board only once I removed all the caps because a pot was blocking my of view, funny though my problem was not enough high end, and the pot was right by the treble eq pot!

I'm currently working on cutting a stencil with a homie of mine that owns his own t shirt printing business, the idea would be to sand/primer/paint my MPC3000, then reapply the lettering using the same technique in screening shirts, then apply a clear coat to protect it all..

i currently have it all laid out in Adobe Illustrator and I'm getting really close to gettin everything perfectly lined up

I'll post pics of the entire process, and thinking about posting the Illustrator vector file up for grabs once i finish my project successfully so you can get your own stencil cut etc..

time frame would be about a month?

I'm curious about this, as I asked a screening friend of mine and he said the text was too small... Keep us posted!

I JUST GOT WORD OUR TEMPLATE FOR THE MPC-300 IS NOT FITTING CORRECTLY AND I CANT FIND ONE IN MINNEAPOLIS ANYWHERE! (I HAD TO TAKE IT OFF THE SITE UNTIL I CAN GET IT FIXED). THE STYLEFLIP LOOKS AWESOME AND THE TEXT IS PERFECT, BUT THE FIT IS JUST A LITTLE OFF.
