That was very good. People could say what they want about cuz, but i think kanye has a great vision when it comes to putting stuff together. I also like the end of the artical how he stated that nelly fills apart of somebodies life and he can fill the other. Thats the way i have always look at muisc. Some people always get mad at this or that producer or say that hip hop is dead. I feel hip hop is just more wide open now and if it was all the same it would really be dead like rock n rol with the same old guitar!

i gotta agree with yonug keyz too, cos i used to be angry at the commercial movement, but now ive grown to understand that there is a time and place for most things.

when im at a club that crunk shit is cool.
if im chillin with my boys then i might wanna hear some mad lyrical shit
if im on my own i might wanna hear some more intropective shit.

I don't waan hate on anything (really I can't) but... why those kinda producers neva mention that they record"College Drop..."on SSL mixingboard with top end outboard gears, not to mention engineers and mastering engineer... hard work and so on?
Ok! he "only need that" for beats making... and a lot more to record the "Platinium Tracks" !!

I dont think th point was what he used to record everything with but what he used to put together the ideals together with. While now days people are running for this or that new toy, kanye and many others still have proove that it can be done with way less.

yo if u look at his interview in Scratch Magazine. He uses an E-Mu Proteus 2000 too... jus look at his tool box in dat magazine.
