There are some pretty shitty videos on here. The Su-preme video's are entertaining, but most beatmakers just haven't got much going for themselves. Where the **** is the entertainment. Don't even have to make a good beat to have an entertaining video. Simple drums over one sample, a bassline, maybe a synth or guitar just to show musicians that they have musical skills too and BAM... a beat

But this is my idea of a good quality beat-making video so here it is.
Ron 'Amen-Ra' Lawrence deconstructs a beat he produced on the MPC3000 for Jay-Z (7:16).
The track called 'Where I'm from' is created using samples, a Korg Triton and a Roland JV-2080 module.

Here he makes it look so simple using an MPC3000LE, Korg Triton and NI Maschine to create a soulful sample-based beat (6:31).
