what works good is, import a beat to slick on fl, cuts them perfect, then export them

nope, when i said it i meant it

if you aint got mophatt you do now

i let some of the keys play the audition to put them in contex and some i jus played alil riff, all the real good sounding ones are the audition funtion from the board

i am steering clear of software, so if i cop like an emu esi4000 then tht should be suffice now should it? like for the keys and things, anything i need to look out for , in terms of size, ?

also, like how u are sampling the sounds, when i play them back in a sampler, does it really sound close to the mo phatt, timbral changes, and expresions, or is tht and the finer details omitted from it.

well it sounds like it, but, the actual expression of the sounds is in the mophatt, but if you get an emu rack you could come pretty close
or if you get a rack sampler and you like the sounds you can get emu cd roms that have the same sounds from the modules, they have everything in the sound so they would be closer to the actual
or you could jus take the samples i posted and tweak them how you like

the general sound is there but of course you loose a lil when sampling unless you got a gang of tight equipment

but so far i am pleased with how they are turning out, and for cat's who use mpc's and rack samplers or soft samplers, they should get the job done, that's why i tried to sample more that one note
