Note repeat really fast when hitting/holding pad button afte

Hi,

I'm a new user of the mpc1000 and I just upgraded to JJ OS 3.12 version for free, but when I hit the pad buttons to trigger a sample, it plays really fast, as if the Note repeat is on... I've went back to the original Akai OS 2.13 and it's fine...

Anyone else with this issue? Please help....

Also, I have to press very hard and hold the pad buttons, to have the sample play clearly...If I tap or press lightly/medium pressure, it has the rapid/distorted/note repeat sound...

same thing here. Anyone any ideas?

I've tried everything I know and can't fix it. It's pretty much impossible to make a drum sequence sync to the metronome because the MPC records the beats on the note-off and not on the note-on event.
