Just checked the youtube and there is a new video of a feature of upcoming jj os xl version!

"Specification change of loop hold playback of a sample
The loop hold playback by PAD BANK+PAD was abolished.
The same work is carried out by setting PLAY MODE of a program as LOOP&HOLD."

As I remember jj mentioned it in some of his comments - it should be released 18-20.4.
If there are no problems I think it should be released during this week (at least I hope so because I cant't wait to try these new features )

is it possible use note repeat with loop&hold?

the note repeat hold shortcut is on the shift key isnt it? i dont think thats getting changed

i like it, but would love a 4th option that allows us to "hold for (specified) duration"

Yeah I hope it can overcome that annoying 9999 duration limit.

with loop&hold and note repeat (quantice 1/8) would launch the differents loops in perfect synchronization. nice feature for live performances!

Otherwise I guess it will be compatible with SIMULT if it's in the program mode.

With the "old" loop hold playback it was possible to use layers with different loop lenght.

yeah looking forward to trying it out.. i will definitely find it useful that its not on the pad banks anymore, its something i have to be careful with on some tracks.

I got a message from murai to say they've fixed a bug that i came across too - when recording a moving between tracks and pad banks some notes would get really long note durations and wouldnt playback unless you stopped and restarted. Its been a real pain - and im going to be happy not to work around that one for sure!

perhaps it's the time to add quantize in note repeat 1/4 1/2 & 1/1
