greetings

do you guys know how to move the starting point of a measure?
I recorded a sequence but the first note is not exactly on the first beat of the measure, so I was wondering if there is a quick way to move the beginning of the measure a few steps ahead. I reckon I could do it with copy and paste and then extract the needed area, but that takes too long.

thanks ahead

I'm using JJOS 3.12

by measure I meant a bar

I think the function that I was asking about is called Start offset of a sample (Audio Track) , but I have not tried this version of the JJOS.

The easiest way to manage to do what you want is to move events. It would be a pain to mess with bars or measures in SEQ EDIT.

Do you have so many events in your first bar?

I think the grid edit is not very efficient in the free JJ OS so as suggested you have to use the MOVE function in STEP EDIT.

I keep requesting MOVE in GRID EDIT for a selection of events. Hope it could be done one day.

darn, I did not ask my question right, I forgot to mention that I was asking about an audio track :) So if I record a riff but I don't start playing exactly at the beginning of the measure, then I'd have to go into TRIM mode and delete the little silent part a the beginning of the sample, this way it will sync with the beginning of the measure in the audio track.
