how do i delete a track i made a mistake on?

hit the erase button, select the track and set it to all notes, and set the range you want to delete...and BAM

how do i delete a sound i sampled and dont want on the pgm?

on the program assign screen, just un-assign the sound and re-save the program file. if you want the sound gone forever from the disk too, you can do this on the disk screen. (shift+3)

I am not sure about the rest as I dont have the XL and I dont slice/trim/assign sounds on the mpc. once you make a zone selection in the edit window I think you can delete a zone though, if that helps.

These questions could be answered in the manual but ill help u out bro:

how do i load sounds from the trim screen to a pad?

Go to the programs screen, within that screen select a program, hit the pad you want to put the sound on, [heres where it gets muddy cause im not at my MPC right now] rotate the data wheel on the "Pad" option i think until you see the name of the sound that you had in the trim screen.

how do i delete a sund rom the trim screen?

hilight the sound in the trim screen, hit open window, then hit the delete button....

as for the rest you can consult the manual that came with the mpc, all these are general tasks that the manual handles. Also i handled a very similar question in another post on the forum, so search ahead my boy! Good luck, and hope this helps, peace.....

If the mistake is just one missed note or a couple, you can delete just the mistake by eother staying in overdub recording and holding the erase button and pressing the pad that has the sound you made the mistake with, at the point you made the mistake, you can also just hold it down the whole time and erase all notes from that pad, or multiple pads at the same time. YOu can also stop the playback, hit the erase key, and press the pad(s) you want erased from the sequence and hit do it and you're styling.

when you load an *.aps file, all the samples that were in memory before doing that, are gone forever. APS means it loads ALL PROGRAMS & SAMPLES, when doing so even the mpc screen tells you that all samples in memory will be erased. Just take your manual and start reading it from first page to the last, side by side with your mpc.... :!:

I gave an exact answer to that. be careful.
according to the zone question: RTFM

Press edit, it will ask Create New Program? Press Do It.
