I know there is a similar post regarding internal card readers, but I thought I'd share this...

I purchased an external card reader drive from him before and it works great with the MPC4000. I also use it with a K2661 - although NOT at the same time or with the same CF card! This is a fast and reliable way to back up your work!
Although I've thought about it, I haven't installed a solid state internal drive. This (to me) makes a little more sense than an internal CF drive UNLESS it would be in addition to the internal HD.
What I'd REALLY like is an Ipad control surface for the MPC4000! Not only to perform ALL the button/switch/slider functions of the 4000 via touchscreen, but also see the screen as well turning the Ipad into a live remote control surface... (like transforming it into a S-6000 or Z-8)
