HEY!! HELLO!!

iv'e had the 2500 for about two months, iv'e made some beats now im ready to show some friends.
i only make beats in a sequence, so no songs or nothing.

my question is how do i get the whole beat/sequence on my computer, it seems i can only transfer single samples on my computer. i tried saving entire memory then transfering the project file on my computer but i guess the project file is only information about the sequence, samples, and event data, but not the actual song?
thanks for all the help

Do you have an audio interface?

Play the sequence and record the sound from the MPC2500 main outputs into an audio editor (such as Audacity) to create a .wav file. From there you can burn to a CD or convert to MP3 format.

Or resample the WHOLE sequence, making it into one long sample, then transfer to your computer.

Resampling is called Recording The Main Outs on the MPC. When you enter Record Mode, switch the input signal to Main Out. I don't have the 2500 but it should be in the manual in the wording I've just used. Download the PDF from akaipro.com and find stuff quickly with the search feature. For MPC jargon, check here.
